GREEN BLUFF, Wash. -- A preliminary meeting for weddings and parties to be hosted in Green Bluffs was held Thursday at the Spokane County Public works building.
A couple dozen people were able to voice their opinions about what weddings and parties would bring to the area. Most people at the meeting were against all the noise that would come along with them.
Some residents say they don’t like how the parties run on the weekends all summer long. They also worry about drunk drivers on the roadways.
After this meeting it is a possiblity the planning commission could change the zoning and come up with rules to regulate the events.
