MULLAN, Idaho -- Shoshone County officials confirm there has been another incident at the Lucky Friday mine. A call came into dispatch that miners were possibly trapped inside the mine.
According to the Sheriff's Office, emergency dispatch got a call from the mine about people trapped inside. The Sheriff's Office can't officially confirm if there are any miners trapped, but they are responding for the worst.
Authorities don't know how severe the incident is. The Medstar helicopter and ambulances are on standby as well as a mine rescue team.
