SPOKANE, Wash.—A registered sex offender made his appearance in court Tuesday, after being accused of exposing himself along a roadside on Spokane’s South Hill.

The defendant, Billy Ogan, was arrested in September 2013 for indecent exposure. He said he “was doing the Lord’s work,” according to police.

Ogan’s trial for that incident began in May. Representing himself, Ogan asked the judge to dismiss his case on Tuesday.
