SPOKANE - Rain will move into the Inland Northwest for most areas Thanksgiving night with snow falling in the mountains above 5,500 feet.
Holiday travelers will have to deal with some fog Thanksgiving morning with visibility reduced to one-eighth of a mile in some places on Spokane's South Hill, North Spokane County, and Spokane County's West Plains near the airport.
The high for Thanksgiving will be around 43 degrees under mostly cloudy skies.
The rain will move into the area after the sun sets in the Spokane area, but will arrive earlier to the west and north of Spokane.
All of the precipitation should move out of the area by Friday afternoon with colder temperatures moving into the region for the weekend with no snow in the forecast through Monday.
