SPOKANE, Wash.--Rain overnight Tuesday into Wednesday brought some puddles and flooding to the streets of Downtown Spokane.

The big snow berms were melting and created a mess. Wednesday brought plenty of sunshine that melted off the eight inches of snow on the ground from February.

“I was going to bring my boots but I just forgot to so the sneakers are okay, I just avoid the puddles,” said Bill Wardwell.

The biggest problem spots seemed to be next to metered parking.

“It's a little bit hairy especially when you have a little one cause she wants to be carried and not want to walk through the slop herself,” said Clarice Matt. “But I don't like to carry her when it's like this because I don't want to fall with her in my arms at the same time.”
