PULLMAN, Wash.-- The WSU campus was ready to kick off the college football season Thursday night.

In December, Cougar athletes, the marching band, and a thousand fans helped usher in a new era of Cougar Football with the introduction of new Head Coach Mike Leach.

The Cougs begin the Leach Era against Brigham Young University in Utah on Thursday.

All around campus Thursday WSU students sported crimson and grey.

A university official said for the first time a regular season game will be broadcasted on the big screen at the Beasley Coliseum due to the great excitement and interest for Cougar Football.
