Robber flashes knife at Post Falls Check & Go

POST FALLS, Idaho-- Officers are searching for the suspect from an armed robbery at a Check and Go Monday morning.

Officers said the employee at the Check and Go near N. Cecil Road and E.Mullan Avenue reported that a man entered the business and approached the counter stating that he had a gun. Officials said no gun was seen by the employee.

The suspect demanded cash according to police. They reported that the employee was following his commands when the suspect displayed a knife and cut the phone cords on two phones.

Police said the suspect fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officers were unable to locate the suspect in the area and detectives were called to the scene to process evidence.

The employee at the business described the suspect as a Caucasian male, possibly in his 40’s to 50’s, 5’10”-6’0” tall and weighing 200-220 lbs. He said the man was wearing a dark/medium blue zipped up hooded sweat jacket with blue jeans.
