TWIN LAKES, Idaho -- A Post Falls man was killed Saturday night after crashing into the side of a train near Twin Lakes, Idaho.

The Kootenai County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to Ramsey Road at Diagonal Road around 12:45 a.m. for a report of a crash involving a Burlington Northern Santa Fe train and a car.

Investigators say Albert Brunner, 53, was traveling south on Ramsey Road and hit the train that had been traveling east. The train was going through the intersection when Brunner's 1993 Mitsubishi 3000 GT smashed into it.
