SPOKANE, Wash.—The Spokane Police Department was on scene of a drive-by shooting in the Garland District on Saturday around 4:00 p.m.
Police said there was one victim who was shot and taken to a local hospital. They said the victim in his 30's was expected to survive.
The shooting happened outside of a house near W. Walton and Lincoln Street.
Witnesses said a blue or green SUV fled the area after they heard what sounded like shots fired.
W. Walton between Lincoln and Post was closed off for multiple hours Saturday.
The Spokane Major Crimes unit was interviewing witnesses Saturday night.
