SPOKANE--Spokane Police are cleaning up the scene of a crash that started as a pursuit.
Officers say the driver didn’t yield to a traffic sign and wouldn’t stop for police. Police used spike strips on the Maple Street Bridge.
The pursuit ended with a pit maneuver which forced the vehicle into the Rosauer’s parking lot on 3rd ave.
The man then exited his vehicle and tried to attack officers. They tackled him down and he was arrested.
Several officers suffered minor injuries.
The suspect's vehicle has been seized and a search warrant has been issued.
