SPOKANE -- Spokane Police took a man into custody following a standoff at a home in the 3900 block of N. Crestline.

The standoff ended around 11:00 p.m. Monday.

Police said the situation started as a fight between the suspect, Isaac Carloss, and his girlfriend. Carloss is accused of hitting his girlfriend and another person who tried to intervene with a board. Family members inside the home said Carloss had a gun.

When officers arrived, Carloss was nowhere to be seen. Police surrounded the home and blocked off some roads in the neighborhood. Police told neighbors to stay inside their homes and lock their doors.

Officers circled the home with a K-9 unit. The police dog located Carloss inside a crawlspace of the home. Officers said they recovered a bb gun.

Police said two victims were taken to the hospital for lacerations.

Carloss faces assault charges.
