SPOKANE VALLEY -- Some workers at Kaiser Aluminum Trentwood Works in Spokane Valley were sent home overnight after a fire at the plant.
Firefighters were on scene for a couple of hours, and tell us it started on a hotline in the basement.
We talked to a spokesman for the plant twice this morning, who was working to get us more information.
In the meantime, plant security says everything is fine and employees should report to work as normal Thursday morning.
The following is a statement from the company:
"There was a small fire this morning at Kaiser Aluminum's Trentwood Works facility. All emergency response procedures were followed, including evacuation of employees and the fire has been extinguished. There were no injuries."
