GRANGEVILLE, Idaho -- An overdue rafter from Seattle who failed to return from a trip on the Snake River has been found unharmed, according to officials with the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office.

Alexander Belyaev left the Hells Canyon Dam area on Friday headed or Pittsburg Landing.

He was reported missing Tuesday when he did not show up for work.

Authorities said Belyaev was located and is “fine.” They said he did not receive medical attention and is headed back to Seattle.
