HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) -- A Hillsboro man returned home one day in April to find his 14-year-old daughter in her room partially clothed with a teenage boy.
The 50-year-old father told police he fired a handgun into the floor to scare the teens and he fired another round outside the house as the boy scrambled over a fence.
No one was hit. Officers arrested Jamshid Ebrahimi.
The Oregonian reports Ebrahimi pleaded guilty Tuesday in Washington County Circuit Court to unlawful use of a weapon and recklessly endangering. He was sentenced to three years on probation. He also must not own guns.
