MOSES LAKE, Wash -- No one was injured after a drive-by in the Larson Housing Area north of Moses Lake Thursday night.
Several people called 911 around 10:15 p.m. reporting shots fired in the 1200 block of Arlington Drive Northeast. Callers described the fleeing vehicle as possibly a black SUV, a black two door passenger car, or a blue Chevrolet Alero.
Investigators said six bullets hit a house. Five of the bullets were recovered and sent to the state crime lab for analysis. The Sheriff’s Office believed the shooting was likely gang related.
Several deputies were in the Larson Housing Area on patrol and arrived quickly at Arlington after the shooting. Officers made several traffic stops on vehicles potentially matching callers’ descriptions but no suspects were found.

In the wake of the incident, Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones announced a town hall meeting for the Larson community to discuss the recent shootings in the area, including the deadly shooting of a 16-year-old boy Feb. 16. The meeting was scheduled for Wednesday Feb. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Grant County Sheriff's substation on Lowry St. in Moses Lake.
