LATAH COUNTY-- New noise limits have impacted two businesses in Latah County after neighbors complained to their zoning commission.
A shooting range and a bed and breakfast that hosts weddings are impacted by the new noise limits.
Owners at the bed and breakfast told KREM 2 news they're trying to accommodate their neighbor's concerns, but think more needs to be considered than just the noise they make.
The bed and breakfast has a chapel and plenty of other amenities to host up to 100 guests.
The bed and breakfast hosted 10 weddings from June to September in 2012. They estimate that helped book 200 other rooms and serve 1800 additional meals in that time. Owners want others to consider their contribution to the local economy.
Some events require and neighbors have complained about the noise.
The noise limits require the bed and breakfast host weddings every other week and prohibit any amplified music.
The owners hope they can work with everyone involved to find a solution and silence the concern.
