Coeur d’Alene, Idaho—A new Mayor and council members were expected to be sworn in at Coeur d’Alene City Hall on Tuesday.

Coeur d’Alene Mayor-elect Steve Widmyer and soon to be council members Kiki Miller and Amy Evans were set to be sworn in Tuesday during the regular Coeur d’Alene City Council meeting. The council meets at 6:00 p.m. in the community room of the Coeur d’Alene public library.

Widmyer was expected to recommend several appointments to city subcommittees and volunteer boards to fill positions currently held by department council members.

A formal recognition of Mayor Sandi Bloem, who is stepping down from office after 12 years is scheduled for the meeting along with recognition of Deanna Goodlander who served the City for 16 years and Mike Kennedy who served the City for eight years.
