SPOKANE, Wash. -- A naked man assaulted a woman on her morning walk, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Police were first called for a suspicious person in the 4800 block of East Gloria Lane around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A homeowner told police she heard someone knocking on her back window, but they were unable to find anyone in the area. The woman’s husband came home from work around 3:45 to find a naked black man in their front yard. Deputies searched a second time for the man, but were again unsuccessful.
At 5:15, a woman was reportedly assaulted near 17th and Carnahan Road during her morning walk. The victim told deputies a naked black man approached her, attempted to take her watch, threw her to the ground and partially drug her down an embankment. After a short struggle, the victim was able to free herself. The sheriff’s office says she was injured during the incident.
The woman said the man has an athletic build and a tattoo on his right shoulder. She added the suspect should have scratches on his chest and arms from the altercation.
