CHENEY, Wash.-- A mother and teenage daughter escaped without injuries early Tuesday after rolling their car on a Cheney highway.
Around 8 a.m., authorities said the two were driving north on Highway 904 near Paradise Road.
The mother witnessed an oncoming car that had crossed the center line several times. She swerved toward the edge of the road to avoid the car and hit a patch of gravel.
Washington State Patrol troopers said the mother wasn’t speeding but was going fast enough to flip the car. Troopers did not cite the mother for any wrongdoing.
They also did not track down the oncoming car in question due to a vague description.
