COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho--  Coeur d’Alene Police wanted the public’s help to track down two suspects wanted for allegedly attempting to entice a child Tuesday.

Authorities said two men drove a van alongside a 10-year-old boy around 5 p.m. on the 2700 block of Fruitland Lane.  The boy was walking home from a friend’s house.  The two suspects, possibly Hispanic, slid open the door and asked the young boy if he wanted candy and asked for him to get in the van, according to police.  The boy ran away from the van.

The van was last seen travelling north on Fruitland Lane.  Police searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

The full size, white van was described as having dark tinted windows with two thin black lines just below them, a sliding door, and having squeaky shocks as it drove away.

The driver of the van possibly had green eyes and the passenger probably had brown eyes, according to police.  Their age and clothing were unknown but they both had mustaches.

Investigators asked anyone with information about the incident to contact the Coeur d' Alene Police Department.
