COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho-- City Council members awarded the McEuen Park project to Contractors Northwest, Inc. for $14,908,000 on Thursday night.
Contractors Northwest, Inc. was one of six contractors to submit a bid for the renovation project. Bids ranged from $14 million to $17 million according to the design team.
“We had two bidders that were on the low end that were very close,” said design team member Dick Stauffer, “that gives you assurance that everyone is seeing the same thing.”
Project organizers said they hope to start construction with in the next 30 days.
