SPOKANE -- With a split vote, the Spokane City Council approved the city’s budget for 2013 Monday night.
To close a $10 million deficit the city will eliminate 92 jobs, most of which were already vacant. The budget also cuts the arts and weights and measures departments.
The vote was 4 to 3.
