Spokane, Wash. -- The owner of a massage parlor that was raided back in 2012 as part of a prostitution ring is expected in court to be arraigned Monday morning.
On January 10, Brandy Birkland appeared in court to face new charges of leading organized crime. The state asked for bond to be set at $50,000 at that time. The defense argued she had a limited criminal history and those crimes were years ago. She also has a two-week-old child.
