KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho.—A Portland, Oregon man was sentenced to serve one year in state prison on Monday for the possession of 113 pounds of marijuana with the intent to deliver and felony possession of marijuana.
Mark R. Hamman, 56, was arrested on January 9, 2014 when he was found in possession of the marijuana and $6,000 in cash, according to Kootenai County officials. Hamman was stopped by Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office deputies on his way from Oregon to North Dakota, according to officials. On May 12, 2014 Hamman plead guilty to the two charges.
Hamman was ordered by a judge to pay a $10,000 fine. Hamman’s prison terms for the two charges were set to run concurrently, according to officials. Hamman would receive credit for the two days he had already served in jail, according to officials.
