SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho -- A man had to be rescued in Spirit Lake Sunday morning.
Witnesses said the adult man was with his family, boating on the lake. While in the water, the victim suddenly had trouble swimming near the boat launch, according to the witnesses. Officials said the man had an existing health condition that made swimming difficult.
Emergency crews responded after someone called 911 around 11:45 a.m. The victim was pulled from the water and paramedics performed CPR on him.
The man was sent to Sacred Heart Medical Center. His condition was not known.
