SPOKANE, Wash.--A fight at the Davenport Hotel on Sunday night resulted in a man being removed from working with the Youth and Police Initiative Program, according to authorities.

Authorities said Paul Lewis was cited with two counts of fourth degree assault. They added he was not affiliated with the Spokane Police Department.

The Youth and Police Initiative Program is a community engagement program where law enforcement and community organizations work together to build more positive relationships between participating youth, the community and law enforcement.

Authorities added that Lewis was relocating and was on his way out of the Spokane area on Monday.
