SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A man was sentenced to 87 months in prison and 18 months of community supervision after pleading guilty in the armed robbery of a nail salon last year. Another man was sentenced to three months for his role as the getaway driver.

Kyle Henriksen, 23, was sentenced for First Degree Robbery. Nicholas R. Richardson, 24, was sentenced after pleading guilty to 2nd Degree Robbery.
Investigators said Henriksen was an acquaintance of the female victim he robbed inside the Super Nails salon on the 1500 block of N. Pines Road on Dec. 28, 2012.
The victim told deputies she was getting a pedicure when Henriksen burst through the door and walked towards her. Deputies said Henriksen pointed a gun at her face and told her to give him all the money in her purse. The suspect eventually took the victim’s purse and ran out of the business. Richardson helped Henriksen get away, authorities said.
No injuries were reported in the robbery.
Henriksen's criminal history consists of convictions for felony assault, possession of a stolen firearm, theft and taking motor vehicle without permission. Richardson's history includes traffic violations, theft, assault and drug crimes.
