SPOKANE -- Police say the suspect in a downtown stabbing turned himself in Saturday evening.
Officers responded to the 400 block of S. Fiske Street just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday. They found a man with multiple stab wounds to his upper body, back and arms.
The 29-year-old victim was rushed to a Spokane hospital in critical condition.
Police identified a suspect, and deployed a K-9 team, but did not immediately find who they were looking for.
Officers say Jesse D. Bell turned himself into authorities late Saturday. He is charged with 1st Degree Assault.
According to Spokane Police, the victim remained hospitalized and was in critical condition late Saturday.
