SPOKANE, Wash.--The man who police said murdered his pregnant girlfriend accepted a plea bargain deal.
John Lipinksi’s second trial for the 2005 murder of Melissa Saldivar and their unborn child ended in a hung jury in February.

Prosecutors were trying to start a third trial. Instead, Lipinksi accepted a plea deal knocking the charges down from murder to two counts of manslaughter.
