POST FALLS, Idaho -- Local businesses are teaming up to keep a summer camp running.

Camp Goodtimes in Post Falls is dedicated to helping children battling cancer.  The American Cancer Society announced in March that they would discontinue their sponsorship of Camp Goodtimes after summer 2014.  ACS said wanted to focus its funding on other programs.

This summer, however, the Ronald McDonald House of Spokane, YMCA, and Coaches vs. Cancer have donated money to keep the camp open.

Earlier in August, the Gonzaga University men’s basketball team visited Camp Goodtimes to meet some of the campers.
