SPOKANE, Wash. -- Thursday is the first day same sex couples will be able to apply for marriage licenses. The Spokane Auditor is expecting a big turnout.
They're extending their hours for one day only. The auditor's office, on the first floor of the courthouse, will be open from 8:30 to 4 on Friday to accommodate everyone.
They can only answer questions about the application process.
