SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- The Habitat for Humanity store was burglarized, possibly over the weekend, sheriff’s deputies said.

The Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a burglary call at the store near the 3800 block of N. Sullivan Road.  An employee told investigators the store had been burglarized sometime between Saturday evening and Monday morning.

According to authorities, the burglar or burglars entered through a broken window and stole a donation box that contained an estimated $1,000 in coins and cash.

There were no suspects in the burglary Tuesday.  Anyone with information about the case was urged to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
