RATHDRUM, Idaho -- The Rachel’s Challenge Pro-Kindness Campaign is making its way to Lakeland High School.
Sophomore Sara Sitar spearheaded a group project for her family and consumer science class to bring Rachel's Challenge to her school. She had been working with the booster club and some other community groups for about a year to raise the money.
"I truly believe that Rachel's Challenge can make an impact on anyone, anyone who listens to it and who takes it seriously,” Sara said. “I think that it's so inspirational. It's nationwide and I truly believe in it."
Representatives from Rachel's Challenge planned to be at the school September 27th.
