SPOKANE, Wash. -- A jury in the Shannon Johnson murder trial began deliberating on Thursday at 12:55 p.m. The trial began Wednesday, August 14.
Shannon Johnson, 33, is charged with murder. He is accused of gunning down two people in a neighborhood grocery store on New Years Eve, killing one of them.
Police said Johnson walked into the store near Euclid and Thor on New Year’s Eve. Witnesses reported hearing an argument over a woman, money and drugs, according to court documents. Police said Johnson shot the other two and then ran away.
