SPOKANE COUNTY -- Authorities searched for an inmate who reportedly escaped from Geiger Corrections Center on South Spotted Road.
38-year-old Michael Wheeler was last seen around 5:30 p.m. working in the kitchen. A later count revealed him missing.
Wheeler is 5’8", 180lbs with brown eyes and brown hair. He is wearing either a blue or tan jump suit.
Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputies said Wheeler has a criminal history that includes alluding police, possession of stolen vehicle, assault, burglary, theft, possession of stolen property and illegal fire arms possession.
Authorities set up a perimeter.
