LEWISTON, Idaho (AP) -- The head of the Nez Perce County commission has pleaded not guilty to sexual assault allegations.
The Lewiston Tribune reports Michael Grow entered his plea Thursday in Valley County and a trial has been set for Dec. 12 in Idaho's 4th District Court.
Grow was indicted last week on charges that he assaulted a female acquaintance in early April at the Tamarack Resort near Donnelly in center Idaho. The indictment said there was probable cause to charge Grow with felony penetration by a foreign object.
Grow, who is chairs the Nez Perce County commission, remains free on bond.
