SPOKANE, Wash.—Officers made a second arrested in connection to a North Spokane hotel murder that happened Sunday night.
The suspect, Stanley A. Tensley, faced a judge Wednesday afternoon for Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the 2nd Degree. Authorities arrested Tensley on Tuesday evening. Officers said evidence and witness statements led them to Tensley.
Officers said the 24-year-old’s arrest was in connection to the shooting death of Richard C. Amodio, 32. He was fatally shot outside of the Howard Johnson along North Division.
Earlier in the week, officers arrested a different man and accused him of Amodio’s murder. Police originally believed the 30-year-old suspect shot and killed the victim during a fight over marijuana.
Officers later released and dropped the charges against their original suspect.
