SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Police arrested four people wanted on arrest warrants after a stolen car chase ended in a crash early Friday in Spokane.
The chase reportedly began about 2 a.m. on Highway 291 when officers spotted the stolen car. The driver took off at more than 70 mph, blowing through traffic lights.
Lt. Dean Sprague says an officer slowed the fleeing car with spike strips near Joe Albi Stadium. Officers eventually rammed the car in a PIT maneuver, which caused it to roll over.
The four occupants suffered minor injuries and were headed to jail after hospital treatment.
