SPIRIT LAKE, Idaho.— Authorities temporarily closed Highway 41 near Spirit Lake on Sunday afternoon after two SUVs collided.
Idaho State Police responded to a head-on collision north of Spirit Lake.
Both lanes of the highway were closed for two and a half hours while Idaho State Police investigated the crash.The vehicles involved were towed from the scene.
One driver, 32-year-old Abilene Anderson, was northbound when she drove left of the center and struck another car, according to Idaho State Police. Officials said a small child was in each vehicle and both were in car seats. All of the occupants of the cars were transported to the hospital, according to police.
