SPOKANE, Wash. -- Friday was move-in day for Gonzaga University and 2013's freshman class is the largest in the school's history by two.
"It's hectic," said freshman Jean-Claude Aboud who arrived Friday from Sammamish, Washington, "very hectic. I'm not sure if I brought too much or too little. Comparing my stack to other people, I don't know what to expect right now."
It is also Aboud's first time living away from home, like many of the new students.
"I'm just hoping that it will be good.
Another freshman comes from across the country in New Jersey. There, Patrick Riley also attended a Jesuit institution. Riley said the university's religious affiliation played into his decision to attend Spokane's Jesuit university.
"I love the atmosphere here, land, the landscape" Riley added. "I love everything about it."
