SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. -- A car collided with a semi Tuesday morning, causing fuel to spill from the semi’s tank onto the roadway.

The crash occurred at E. Broadway Ave. and N. Sullivan Rd.

Firefighters said no one was injured but the fuel leak was a primary concern.  Crews applied absorbent to begin cleaning up the spill.  The Department of Ecology was also called to the scene.

The crash was blocking two lanes of southbound Sullivan Rd. in the area.  Spokane Valley city crews had to be called in to help direct traffic.  Impatient drivers were reportedly going the wrong way to get around the crash.
