SPOKANE -- The last Honor Flight of the year is scheduled to go on as planned, despite problems with the storm back east.
The flight is scheduled to leave Friday morning for Washington D.C. with 32 World War II veterans.
People from the community are invited to be at Spokane International Airport at 8:15 a.m. Friday to see them off.
The flight should return Sunday, November 4 at 4:30 p.m.
Organizers said they have been in contact with Southwest Airlines and all of their providers in Washington D.C., and do not anticipate any significant problems on the trip.
