SPOKANE -- Spokane police officers and county deputies are investigating four smash and grab burglary or burglary attempts this morning in Spokane.

The first happened at the Tesoro station on Spokane's South Hill at 17th and Ray. Police say two suspects used a vehicle and then a sledge hammer to smash the front doors, and they got away with cigarettes. This is the same gas station that was damaged in late October when a vehicle was used to pull an ATM out of the store.

Police say the suspects, who they believe were traveling in a white Chevy Tahoe with tinted windows and a price sticker in one window, then went to a 76 gas station at 2nd Avenue and Cedar. There we're told they did the same thing, broke through the front door and stole cigarettes.

After that police say the suspects moved to a Quick Stop in the 2500 block of West Northwest Blvd. We're told they used the same method of breaking the front door to get inside. From this store, an employee tells us cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money was stolen.

Police say the fourth stop was at a Conoco at Division and Hawthorne. An employee there told our KREM 2 News crew the suspects did not get away with anything, but again damage was done where the suspects rammed their vehicle into the doors.

If you have any information about these burglaries call police immediately.
