MOSES LAKE, Wash.--Firefighters from Grant County Fire District 5 and Moses Lake Fire Department teamed up to fight a house fire on Wednesday morning.
It was unclear at the time of the call whether everyone was out of the house near Maple Drive Northeast and Grape Drive Northeast, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.
The Moses Lake Fire Chief arrived at the scene first and helped keep an elderly male resident from going back inside the burning home, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said about 15 firefighters helped get the fire under control in about 30 minutes.
The singlewide manufactured home suffered severe damage, according to officials. The Grant County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the fire.
