COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho -- Firefighters put out flames at a business building Thursday morning along Highway 95.

When crews arrived, they said no flames were visible from the outside but smoke could be seen. Authorities said the crews did find flames inside.

The fire damaged half of the building, according to firefighters. Nobody was inside when the fire started.

Fire hoses blocked both directions of US 95 at Lincoln Way and Linden. Coeur d'Alene Fire Department officials urged people to avoid the area. The roadway was reopened around before 8:30 a.m.
