STEVENS COUNTY, Wash. -- A man is dead after a head-on crash on Highway 395 north of the Stevens/Spokane County line.
Police say the driver, Robert Mitts, 29, was killed after crossing the center line and hitting another car.
Police say the two drivers in the second car, Michael Swan, 41, and Lukas Quillin, 31, were transported to Holy Family in Spokane with non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 395 was blocked for a short time while crews responded to the scene before one lane was opened to traffic. Police say the road was bare and wet at the time of the crash.
