COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho--Detectives found the body of a Coeur d'Alene woman inside her home Thursday, two days after she was reported missing.

Police said Karrol Lea McDaniel, 68, died of natural causes.

Coeur d’Alene Police asked for the public to help find McDaniel on Wednesday. McDaniel’s brother reported her missing on May 6 around 3:00 p.m.

Her brother said he was extremely concerned for McDaniel. He added McDaniel had not been seen by anyone in the family since May 2, 2014. McDaniel was off her medication and was despondent, according to her brother.

Police added McDaniel’s community health caseworker had not seen her since May 2. McDaniel has three adult children and had not been in touch with them, according to police.

Police said McDaniel missed a scheduled doctor’s appointment on April 29.

McDaniel was described as 5’2”, 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police said McDaniel did not have her car or cell phone with her.
