LAKE ROOSEVELT, Wash.—The Enterprise wildfire partially closed Lake Roosevelt to boaters on Wednesday. The 50 acre fire was started by lightning on August 3 and has caused cameras and homeowners to evacuate.

Department of Natural Resources officials said they closed part of Lake Roosevelt to help planes scooping up water the battle the flames Fruitland, WA. The Enterprise boat-in campground was also closed along with a shoreline camping ban.
Two helicopters and three airplanes helped with aerial water drops.
On Tuesday, the fire forced six homes and a nearby camp to evacuate.
