SPOKANE-- A driver struck another car head-on during the Friday morning commute.
It happened around 5:30 a.m. near Francis and Assembly.
The driver of the red car was driving northbound on Assembly. He crossed the median and collided with the white car headed southbound.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital. No word yet on their conditions.
Police say they consider this a possible DUI investigation.
One lane of Francis and one lane of Assembly were closed while crews cleared the scene.
