SPOKANE, Wash.-- Washington State Patrol responded to a single car rollover around 6 a.m. in Spokane.
The driver told troopers he was trying to avoid a deer crossing the road so he accelerated and swerved to miss it. The driver said he lost control and rolled a few times before landing.
According to WSP, the driver was speeding off the ramp when he tried to make the curve and lost control of his car. When the car flipped the first time, it was going fast enough to send it through the air another 20-30 feet before it rolled again and landed.
The driver suffered non-life threatening injuries and complained of pain in his shoulder and chest. WSP said there was no drugs or alcohol involved. The driver was cited with negligent driving.
